IOWA SUPER PAC ANNOUNCES STATEWIDE VOTER REGISTRATION AND EARLY VOTE TOUR

Des Moines, IA — Iowa-based SuperPAC ‘No Justice No Peace’ is announcing a series of voter registration and early vote events across Iowa today. The events being hosted by No Justice No Peace and New Frontier Action are focusing on increasing voter awareness and turnout in a number of communities across Iowa over the final stretch before November 3rd, according to a release today.

Mark Langgin, a founding board member of both organizations and political ad maker, said of the events, “Iowa is ground zero for control of the United States Senate and holding Joni Ernst accountable for her failures on protecting those with pre-existing conditions that put Iowa’s low-income communities and people of color at risk. There is a solution, though … voting.”

Iowa’s Secretary of State Paul Pate has instituted a number of restrictions on how local governments can facilitate early and absentee voting this year, and No Justice No Peace wants Iowans to be aware.

Langgin continued, “Secretary Pate has pulled out all of the stops, lawsuits, and tired voter suppression arguments to restrict access to early voting this year. Local control used to mean something in Iowa. Now, Pate’s just in Trump’s oversized jacket pocket.”
