DES MOINES, IA — Iowa-based SuperPAC ‘No Justice No Peace’ is announcing a series of Monday night live stream conversations during October called ‘From the Marches to the Mic’ to highlight voting’s importance. Early voting in Iowa began today, October 5th, and Iowa voters can vote early at their local county auditor’s office.
No Justice No Peace PAC Director, Mark Langgin, said of the events, “Exercising your right to vote and protecting your right to vote go hand-in-hand. The best way to make sure that right is there in the future is to exercise it now,” he said.
Live stream events will be held on Monday nights in October at 8 PM ET / 7 PM CT and available at the organization website at NJNP.TV and on all major streaming platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Twitch.
The first panel discussion on Monday, October 5th, will be with the Black Caucus of the Iowa Hosue of Representatives, including State Rep. Ako Abdul-Samad, State Rep. Phylis Thede, State Rep. Ross Wilburn, and State Rep. Ras Smith. No Justice No Peace Iowa State Director Al Womble will moderate the panel.
